Marta Crawford graduated in Clinical Psychology and is one of the most recognised sexologists in Portugal; she constantly appears in several TV shows when the theme on the table is sex. In the several episodes of 100 Tabus, Marta will demystify the biggest misconceptions and preconceptions revolving around sex, sexual behaviour and love. The lack of scientific knowledge and people’s imagination have created with time a series of conceptions that materialised as absolute truths, creating myths and preconceptions on some subjects that go from one generation to the other. These myths cause trauma and don’t allow people to live happily and guilt free. Marta will take the show to the streets and will debate unexpected subjects, with unexpected people. In a rural area she will meet with a group of bullfighters while they are practicing, she will talk to them about their sexual performances… Is virility the same as good sex? Sex, chastity, homosexuality, masturbation, virility, fidelity… In each show a different subject, set in a different environment and with different people. A 30 minute talk-show in which the debate is enriched with street footage, like interviews, voxpop, different environments. The idea is to enlighten, demystify and inform the viewers about several aspects of sexuality in a relaxed, fun and interactive way. Marta Crawford will be in SIC Mulher, premiering on Fridays in prime time, 22:45h, with a new show every week, which will be repeated five times. The first series of 13 episodes will be shot among such different settings as a group of bullfighters, young people partying, a group of taxi drivers, children, a gay friendly environment, and market saleswomen. SUBJECTS: Homosexuality; sinning and chastity; sexual performance; adoption by gay couples; sexual transmitted diseases; senior sex; fidelity; sexual toys; awkward noises; sex and food; why do people turn to prostitution… SETTINGS AND GUESTS: Bullfighters practicing and at a pub; young people at a party; children at school; senior citizens in a home; saleswomen at the market; taxi drivers at the taxi line; workers at a construction site; gay sauna; brothel with prostitutes; tea time with upper class ladies; a kitchen with its professionals; an orchestra with musicians; a pub with Fado singers.
