The Voice Portugal stage shines again for another season with novelties in the panel of coaches: Dino D’Santiago, Carolina Deslandes, Marisa Liz and Diogo Piçarra will occupy the chairs of The Voice Portugal, where absolutely incredible voices will pass through. There will be many surprises and with the usual hosts: Catarina Furtado and Vasco Palmeirim.
Emotions are running high and the mentors leave us their first statements:
Dino D’Santiago debuts as a coach and tells us that “in 2003 I was a contestant on Operation Triumph and 19 years later I became a mentor on The Voice Portugal. I only ask for a lot of wisdom and empathy when I have to choose between those who stay and those who go. And, above all, may my story be an example that life is really nothing more than a school, where every day we are challenged to be our best version”.
Carolina Deslandes, who took the place of coach in the Kids format, says that “I feel that they passed me into the adult pool without armbands! I’m very excited and I was moved by this invitation. It’s a sign that they trust me and that this journey has just begun”.
Marisa Liz, the mentor you all know, admits she is grateful “to be able to learn more from so many talented people. Expectations are high and dreams are huge! This year the only option is to fight for what we believe in and never give up!”
Diogo Piçarra also returns as a coach and refers that “it will be my first edition after the pandemic, without masks or audience limitations. Therefore, it can only be a great return to the essence of the best talent programme in the world”.
