{"id":46578,"date":"2024-06-06T08:07:34","date_gmt":"2024-06-06T08:07:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shineiberia.tv\/?p=46578"},"modified":"2024-06-06T09:08:53","modified_gmt":"2024-06-06T09:08:53","slug":"macarena-rey-recibe-el-premio-joan-ramon-mainat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shineiberia.tv\/en\/macarena-rey-recibe-el-premio-joan-ramon-mainat\/","title":{"rendered":"Macarena Rey receives the Joan Ram\u00f3n Mainat 2024 Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>FesTVal honours his long career in television<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The FesTVal<\/strong> (Vitoria-Gasteiz Television Festival) distinguishes <strong>Macarena Rey<\/strong> with the <strong>Joan Ram\u00f3n Mainat 2024 Award<\/strong> in recognition of her extensive professional career in television as a director, creator of television content and promoter of highly successful audiovisual formats.<\/p>\n<p>Macarena studied in San Francisco (USA), has a degree in Business Administration and an extensive career in television, in many different genres and sectors, including her work as General Manager of Production at Canal+ Spain, where she was responsible for overseeing all of the channel&#8217;s own production; and Content Director at Telef\u00f3nica Media, where she was responsible for international film and television co-productions with HBO and Fireworks, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Her career in television began in the purchasing departments of the Telef\u00f3nica Group (Antena3 and V\u00eda Digital) where she was responsible for the selection of content and assets for the pay TV platform V\u00eda Digital. Since 2008, Macarena was General Manager of BocaBoca Producciones, a production company where she developed successful projects such as \u201821 d\u00edas\u2019 (for which she won another Ondas Award), \u2018Pasapalabra\u2019, \u2018Conexi\u00f3n Samanta\u2019, \u2018Malas Pulgas\u2019, and fiction series such as \u2018Raphael\u2019, \u2018Carrero Blanco\u2019, \u20182055\u2019, \u2018Rescatando a Sara\u2019, \u2018Vidas Robadas\u2019. She came to this position after having performed similar tasks at Drive Group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Macarena joined Shine Group in 2011<\/strong>, opened the company&#8217;s operations in Spain and Portugal, and led its development since then as part of a growing global network of production companies. During these years she has been the executive producer of some of the most successful formats in both territories: \u2018MasterChef\u2019 Spain (multi-awarded for example with two Ondas awards, the National Gastronomy Award or the Iris Awards of the TV Academy), MasterChef Portugal, \u2018La Isla\u2019, &#8216;The Voice Portugal&#8217; and its children&#8217;s version &#8216;The Voice Kids Portugal&#8217;, &#8216;Me Resbala&#8217;, \u2018Maestros de la Costura\u2019, and its Portuguese version \u2018Cosido a Mao\u2019, \u2018Cinco Tenedores\u2019, \u2018Pesadelo na cozinha\u2019, \u2018D&#8217;Improviso\u2019, \u2018Sabe ou N\u00e3o Sabe\u2019, \u2018All Together Now Portugal\u2019&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Shine Iberia is currently expanding its catalogue with \u2018Generaci\u00f3n Porno\u2019, \u2018HairStyle the Talent Show\u2019, the documentary series \u2018Bos\u00e9 Reborn\u2019 and has returned to fiction with \u2018Bos\u00e9\u2019, premiered in Chile and the USA with great success in Spain, Italy and Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>The FesTVal organisers, in consensus with the Mainat family, decided to name the awards that are the object of professional tribute in each edition after JOAN RAM\u00d3N MAINAT.
