They will work under the orders of the most reputed chefs of the country. They will make impossible candy like an impressive bridal cake or an eleven layer cake. They will walk through the Alhambra of Granada and will have the privilege of entering the garden of the Generalife, where they continue working with the same system of cultivation since the 14th century. They will even take care of the menu of one of the most important moments in the life of MasterChef.
The aspirant who has demonstrated his passion and evolution will rise with the trophy that credits him as winner of MasterChef 5, publish his own recipe book and get a cash prize of 100,000 euros. In addition, the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences Basque Culinary Center, San Sebastián, will be in charge of completing the training of the top three ranked. The winner will obtain a Master’s degree in cooking, technique and product. The second, a Master’s in pastry and, the third, a Specialization Course.
