Nowadays, many young people struggle to rent a place where they can live. But, at the same time, the senior generations have empty rooms at their homes… What would happen if we got them together under the same roof?

‘Amigos Improváveis’ is a show where young people from the so-called Generation Z, the digital era, are challenged to become tenants at the homes of people over 60, thus creating an unlikely friendship. This format produced by Shine Iberia Portugal will debut on January 4th at SIC and will have a daily frequency.

A lot of things separate them – their life philosophy, their habits, their knowledge, their wishes, their dreams, their world – but can all this be greater than the things that bring them together? What can one generation teach the other? How can they live so differently in the same country and even in the same city? And what if they lived in the same house?

In this social experiment, we’ll closely follow the common moments from daily life in this generation gap that will be filled with humour and tenderness, showing the viewers how we can all gain from a friendship between different generations, bringing younger and older people together.
