Produced by Atresmedia and Shine Iberia, the program will show the day-to-day of a group of men in an extreme environment and how they face the different challenges

For just over a month, a group of fourteen men will be the only inhabitants of a seemingly paradisiacal tropical island of the Pacific, which will become a truly hostile environment

Without a production team next to them, the participants themselves will record and count their achievements, frustrations, experiences and feelings.  The format has been issued with great success in United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, Holland and the United States

Living on a bucolic island, swimming in the Pacific, sunrise on the beach … could the perfect paradise become a nightmare? Pedro García Aguado, with the fourteen participants of ‘La isla’, crosses the ‘puddle’ to begin the recordings of the hardest survival television reality produced by Atresmedia and Shine Iberia.

A group of fourteen intrepid people will be part of this extreme experience. This is not a contest. There will be no winners or losers; The only competition will be against themselves. Participants will be, for more than a month, totally alone and isolated on a tropical island paradise that will become a hostile environment.

In ‘La isla’ they will land without luggage, only with the post and they will not have food, they should look for food, drinking water and shelter. The only ‘luxuries’ they will feature will be three machetes, three knives, a small fishing kit and a can with drinking water only for the first day.
