In the midst of the digital age and under the threat of terrorism, a debate often arises: To what extent are we willing to sacrifice our privacy in pursuit of a higher level of security? Are we being overly surveilled? In the midst of this controversy comes “La Huida” (The Escape), a sociological experiment that has become the latest major success in global television. It’s a high-tension thriller where 15 citizens are challenged to try to remain on the run and leave no trace for 28 days. Behind them is a team led by two commissioners from the National Police Corps and comprised of some of the best professional investigators in the country. They will utilize all the techniques and investigative tools at the disposal of the State to try to catch them.
