Carlos Pinto joined Shine Iberia in June 2018, assuming the position of Head of production at “Married at First Sight”.

He started working in television, as a prodution assistent, in 1997. His first Project, “Mundo Vip” – SIC, lasted 3 years and marked the beginning of a sucessful career that counts with 23 years already.

At “FremantleMedia”, he led production teams for numerous sucessful projects like “Pop Idol”, “Biggest Looser”, XFactor Portugal”, “Splash”, “Hole in the Wall” or “Got Talent Portugal”!

At the prodution company “Produções Ficticias”, he produced three seasons for the television phenomenon “Gato Fedorento”, and was production manager for the series “Sim, Chef” produced by Valentim de Carvalho productions.

He is currently responsable for all Shine Iberia Portugal shows and for the budgeting and pre-production of new formats.
