Carlos Pinto joined Shine Iberia in June 2018, taking on the position of Head of Production on “Casado a primera vista”.

He started working in television as a production assistant in 1997. His first project, “Mundo Vip” – SIC, lasted 3 years and marked the beginning of a successful career that now spans 23 years.

At “FremantleMedia”, he led production teams for numerous successful projects such as “Pop Idol”, “Biggest Looser”, “XFactor Portugal”, “Splash”, “Hole in the Wall” or “Got Talent Portugal”.

At the production company “Produções Ficticias”, he produced three seasons for the TV phenomenon “Gato Fedorento” and was a production manager for the series “Sim, Chef” produced by Valentim de Carvalho.

He is currently responsible for all shows at Shine Iberia Portugal and for the budgeting and pre-production of new formats.
