MasterChef made history yesterday in Spain. Shine Iberia’s hit program scored the second most viewed release in the history of the format in Spain. The premiere has led its broadcast slot, doubling the daily result of the television network and exceeding the network average by +11.4 points. It represents more than +261.2% above monthly channel average. It has become the most watched program of the day, obtaining a 24.3% share and gathering 2.3 millon viewers. Also the program has reaches 7 of the first 10 positions of trending topic’s Top 10 on twitter during the emission. The official Twitter profile gathered 16.517 users chatting live during the emission generating more than 17 million impression. The golden minute was at 23:34 reaching 624 tweets per minute. The previous live from the official Instagram account reached 122,000 viewers. Some of the celebrities and candidates from past editions of MasterChef were connected to the conversation with the digital presenter Abel Arana, getting more than 51,000 views of the video.
