Four and a half months ago, Ana crossed the doors of the kitchens of ‘MasterChef 8’ to fulfill her dream of dedicating herself to professional cooking, an objective she has achieved with work, sacrifice and improvement. Last night, 3,083,000 people (30.3% quota) accompanied the Madrid-based businesswoman, who became the winner of the edition with the highest number of applicants, in the grand final of ‘MasterChef 8’.
The last duel consisted of preparing a complete menu, consisting of a starter, a main course and a dessert, which would demonstrate everything learned in these months of training. Ana cooked together with her colleagues Andy and Iván in this great duel and, finally, her menu linked to the goldsmith won over the jury and the chef Joan Roca (three Michelin stars).
“I can not believe it. I have won MasterChef and I don’t know what else can happen. It’s something I never imagined would happen to me. Dreams come true. This trophy represents that, that if you pursue your dreams everything can be achieved. Mine has come true and I will continue on that path giving it my all. I am full of confidence, security and pride, ”said the winner after hearing her name. Ana received the trophy of the eighth edition of ‘MasterChef’ and a prize of 100,000 euros in cash. On Tuesday, July 14, the Espasa publishing house will publish its own recipe book and, in addition, the next course will carry out the Master in Kitchen, Technique and Product taught by the Basque Culinary Center. Duelists Andy and Iván will also continue their training at the prestigious Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences of San Sebastián with a Master’s Degree in Pastry and an eight-week Specialization Course, respectively.
