Last night, Catarina Furtado revealed the name of the new mentor of the next edition of The Voice Gerações, which will premiere soon on RTP1. Sara Correia is the new mentor and will join Anselmo Ralph, Mickael Carreira and Simone de Oliveira.
Sara Correia says that “it was with great pleasure that I received the invitation from RTP to be a mentor on this year’s edition of The Voice Gerações. I am a great fan of the programme. I grew up in a family of Fado singers and started singing Fado under the influence of my grandmother and my aunt. So, I know what it is to sing and respect the generation that precedes us. I wish a lot of luck to all the participants and I will give a lot of fight to the other mentors to have the best ones with me”.
Sara Correia is a fado singer in body and soul and one of the most influential and respected voices of her generation. The Voice family welcomes her. She was the special guest at the first live Gala and surprised everyone with her rendition of “Smells Good, Smells Like Lisbon” with all the candidates of the night.
